From Anthony, TX I went through Las Cruces, White Sands NP then on to Riudoso NM.Went by the hospital my daughter was born at. Here i am at White Sands. It was really bright, and really hot, >100 deg. During the drive from White Sands to Alamagordo my motorcycle over heated and I limped it up the mountain into cooler air. In Riudoso I saw the first “real” mountain of the trip. Sierra Blanca, about 10500 ft.
