I camped at Seminole Canyon State Park, Texas. The drive from Bandera was at first fun- rode the “Twisted Sisters” of the Texas hill country and with cloud cover. Once out of the hills the ride was hot and brutal with fewer clouds. At the camp I achieved some isolation: I was the only one at the camp ground which was relaxing & quiet except the birds. Storms surrounded the area but I still got a glimpse of the stars – so many!My camp site. Awesome view, used my bike cover as a tarp to create some shade from the sun. It was so very very hot.My dinner. Views of the Canyon. Ancient people lived down in the Canyon. Sunset and stars. Venus over Jupiter with a cool halo cloud. Working on getting pictures of the stars using my phone. Someone made this statue resembling the art in the caves over looking the Canyon. Desert snails with the same color shells as the small pebbles found all over the ground here. This guy wanted a ride on my motorcycle.
