Anchorage

I flew to Anchorage from Whitehorse still not knowing the fate of my motorcycle trip, but I knew Mary and i were going to have a fun week in Alaska.

Mary! Our first Alaska experience was to see Denali.
We watched salmon jumping as they travel up a small tributary of the Knik River, near where we were staying.
Helicopter ride to a Glacier? Heck yeah!
Really cool views.
Insanely awesome to land and be able to walk around.
Fun!
We could and did drink this water.
Then it was time to go.
There’s a moose down there.

We also took trip down to Seward.

Storms were coming, and it was really windy.
We saw spawning salmon swimming up a small stream.
There were otters swimming in the Seward Marina.
Puffins in the Alaska Sealife Center.
Mountains across the Cook Inlet.

We went on a small road trip to see the Matanuska Glacier.

On our last night in Alaska we got to see the Northern Lights! 🙂

Then our time was up.

Off to Maryland.
I flew away too.
To Seattle.
