From Ridgeway I drove to the Black Canyon of the Gunnison to camp, then a night at Montrose and then 2 more nights at the Black Canyon.

The Canyon is truly incredible with over 2500 ft cliffs.

Smoke from fires in Utah showed up.
Smoke was so thick you could look at the sun & see a couple big sun spots with your naked eyes.
Surprisingly, they were letting us have fires, so I did.
On my last day there I went fishing down in the Canyon. Caught one small Rainbow that jumped the hook before I could get his picture.

From here my next stop was the camp at Paonia State Park.
