June 1

The day before June 1st we were at Key West. I rode my motorcycle here to officially start.

Starting out.
This was as close to the “Most Southern Point” buoy as we can get to on the road.

First day on the road ended in a camp ground in the Everglades called Midway. Mary got to camp with me before she went back home. Lucky for me, Mary was there with the car, the mosquitos were so thick we slept in that car and never even put up the tent! The camp ground surrounded a small pond and we saw two alligators.
