June 22nd

Been hanging out with my Aunt Jennifer in Los Alamos since June 20. This has given me the chance to take a break, change the oil in the motorcycle, visit Bandelier, tour the Bradbury Science Museum and see the hospital I was born in.
I approached Los Alamos from the west, which led me past the Valles Caldera, the top of the volcano that formed the plateaus and canyons the city was built on.
At Bandelier.
We were there on the Summer Solstice, and got to see the petroglyph that’s placed so the shadow crosses its center about noon time.
The museum has a binder with all the ID photos of the people that worked in Los Alamos during the development of the bomb.
Got to rub elbows with Oppenheimer and that general guy.
So did my Aunt.
I was born in this building.
The nearby Canyon geology of Los Alamos.
